London Guide UK is an independent publication for the discerning visitor: a curated guide to the city's landmarks, neighbourhoods, finest hotels and tables. We are not a listings directory. Every guide is written and edited by people who know London well, with a bias towards quality over volume, the places genuinely worth your limited time.
Written from first-hand experience
Our guides are grounded in real, on-the-ground knowledge of London. We walk the neighbourhoods, visit the attractions, ride the transport and eat in the city we write about. Where we describe how to reach a place, how long to allow or whether something is worth the ticket price, it comes from genuine experience rather than copied from a brochure.
How we choose what to feature
We recommend places on merit. No venue can pay to appear in our guides, and our editorial judgement is never for sale. We favour the genuinely excellent and the genuinely useful over the merely popular, and we are happy to say when something is not worth your time.

Keeping our guides current
London changes, and so do prices, opening hours and routes. We review and update our guides regularly, and each one shows when it was last updated so you know how fresh the information is.
