Bond Street is the address for luxury shopping in London, a Mayfair thoroughfare, split into Old and New Bond Street, lined with the flagship stores of the world's leading fashion houses, fine jewellers, watchmakers and art galleries. For high-end retail and window-shopping, nothing in the city compares.

Why visit

It is the pinnacle of London luxury, where the grandest names keep their most lavish stores. Even browsing is an experience, taking in the elegant architecture, the auction houses and the sheer concentration of glamour.

What to see and do

Beyond the designer flagships, the street and its surroundings are home to historic jewellers, the major art auctioneers and the Royal Arcade. The Allies sculpture of Churchill and Roosevelt on a bench is a popular photo stop.

Visiting tips

Bond Street Tube (Central, Jubilee and Elizabeth lines) is at one end, Green Park at the other. It links the shopping of Oxford Street with the galleries of Mayfair.
