Where is Fulham and how to get there
Fulham lies in south-west London along the north bank of the Thames, between Chelsea and Hammersmith. The District line serves it at several stations, including Parsons Green, Putney Bridge and Fulham Broadway.
Riverside and green space
The historic heart is Fulham Palace, for centuries the country home of the Bishops of London, with free-to-enter buildings, a museum and lovely botanic gardens beside Bishop’s Park on the river. Football fans know Fulham for Craven Cottage, Fulham FC’s charming riverside ground, while Parsons Green anchors a leafy, village-like corner of pubs and shops.

Fulham is gastropub country, with a strong line in relaxed, quality neighbourhood dining and a lively bar scene around Fulham Broadway and Parsons Green. It suits an unhurried riverside afternoon.
